Hotel Maya celebrates weddings and intimate affairs at the water’s edge featuring seven distinct indoor-outdoor areas for up to 400 guests that overlooks the Pacific Ocean and city skyline.
"Hotel Maya was our #1 choice for our wedding in Long Beach and it did not disappoint. The location and views at Hotel Maya are incredible. It was like having a destination wedding down the street from our house. The venues we chose for both the ceremony and reception were beautiful and worked really well for 200 guests. We got lucky with great weather, but either way this is a beautiful wedding destination. What really stood out with Hotel Maya, though, was the customer service. Our wedding coordinator, Ariel, was absolutely amazing! We can't say enough good things about Ariel. She was consistently available and helpful. Overall, we loved everything about having our wedding here! Highly recommend!"

"Hotel Maya was the perfect place for our wedding. We got so many compliments on the view and location. It was like having a destination wedding without having to leave Southern California. We were surprised how reasonable everything was. The biggest highlight was our wedding coordinator Carmen. She came with our package and she was out of this world! She was incredibly professional and there was nothing that she could not handle. She elevated our experience and we cannot thank her enough."

5 Star Review on The Knot

"We found our wedding at Hotel Maya to be such a wonderful experience — as we look back, the word that always comes to our minds is "perfect". Ariel, the hotel's catering manager, was exceptionally helpful in making sure that everything was in place and ensuring that the wedding ceremony and reception went off without a hitch; she was very accommodating and was a pleasure to work with. The venue itself was very nice, with several options on the hotel grounds as to where to have the ceremony/reception (options appeared to be tiered based on occupancy and other factors). We selected the Jardin de Palmeras for the ceremony, and the reception was conveniently held in the adjacent Luna Solstice. Ariel worked diligently to ensure that both areas were set up to our preference — the result was two beautifully decorated spaces that allowed for a perfect flow from ceremony to reception. We had a guest list of about 60 people, which they were able to comfortably accommodate. The hotel did offer group discount on room blocks, however most of our guests were local so we did not take advantage. In all, we were so happy to have selected Hotel Maya — the venue is beautiful and the staff were attentive and a pleasure to work with."
